Welcome to Portal of practical bioinformatics, an online educational portal dedicated to bioinformatics basics. PPB results from and follows Course of bioinformatics at Faculty of Natural Sciences, Comenius University in Bratislava.
Portal introduces you bioinformatics as a branch of science, as well as problems bioinformatics deals with and methods and approaches applied to solve them. However, above all, it enables you to get up work with selected bioinformatics databases and tools and familiarize with possibilities they offer to biologists.
The PPB release you face is neither final nor complete. Just oppositely, our effort is to supplement, improve and actualize the content of PPB. Hence any remarks and suggestions are highly welcome.
